AA Alpine Air Ambulance – which specialises in air rescue – has been flying from Birrfeld airfield since 2013 with a base in Aargau and from Balzers heliport since 2019. Its helicopters, which are ideally equipped for air rescue, are used for rescue operations, transfers and search and rescue missions. Their main purpose is to provide people with medical assistance quickly and safely in the event of accidents and illness.
This AFX-135 is a licensed scale replica with a true-to-original paint finish. The remote-controlled AAA helicopter features numerous authentic details: even the individual rivets of the cabin, which is made of solid plastic, are reproduced. This scale helicopter has LED lighting at the front and rear, which rounds off the impressive look. Thanks to high-quality electronics including auto take-off and landing, the flight behaviour is good-natured and the helicopter is suitable for beginners despite the multi-blade rotor head. The flight time is up to 12 minutes with the integrated, intelligent battery. The special feature here is that a USB charging socket is built into the battery, which is simply connected to the USB cable supplied. The battery and the model have a voltage monitoring function (LED starts flashing when the voltage gets too low). This means that the pilot always knows when it is better to return to recharge the battery. The high-quality 2.4 GHz transmitter is easy to hold and has three different flight phases (from beginner to advanced), aluminium sticks and the option to switch from Mode 2 (default setting) to Mode 1. The remote control also features the official AAA logo.
This AFX-135 is supplied as an RTF version (Ready-to-Fly), i.e. all components – apart from standard household batteries for the remote control – are already included in the package and the helicopter can fly immediately after charging the battery.

4-blade rotor head like the original: Increases the scale factor even further and brings even more flying pleasure for scale fans
