AMEWI AMXFLIGHT P51 4-CHANNEL 3D/6G RTF

The P51 Mustang was developed in the USA in the 1940s and improved over time. Produced in all-metal around 16,000 times, the aircraft has been used as an escort fighter for many bomber squadrons due to its enormous range thanks to additional tanks, powerful armament and excellent flight characteristics after improvements. The P51 Mustang is one of the best fighter aircraft of the Second World War and is still one of the most popular aircraft at international air shows and air race events.

The AMX P51 is a semi-scale replica of this famous aircraft in the Red Tail livery. Optics and flight characteristics, especially with the size, are convincing – due to 3D/6G gyro the model is also suitable for beginners. The main material is a crash-resistant foam and a 1806 high-performance brushless motor is installed as the power unit, which gives the plane very sporty performance capabilities. The precise digital 2g servos provide maximum control on all axes of the model and are already installed. The main board is also equipped with 3V and 5V outputs, so that e.g. S-Bus and DSM receivers of existing transmitter systems (e.g. Futaba, Spektrum, Radiomaster etc.) can be used. If no transmitter system is available, simply use the supplied 2.4GHz transmitter in mode 2. It lies comfortably in the hand and has all the necessary controls.

Switches on the transmitter can be used to select 6G (fully stabilised with tilt control, which prevents the model from stalling) and 3D (e.g. for aerobatic manoeuvres) modes – so the level of difficulty is adjusted to suit the pilot’s ability. When flying in 3D mode, the 6G switch also serves as a rescue function: if a manoeuvre fails, the AMX P51 can be brought back into a stable flight position at the touch of a button. As a further highlight, the model has been equipped with bright LEDs in red and green, which means that flying at dusk is no problem.
